3% Dearness Allowances For The Government Staffs - Kerala
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has announced 3% DA for the government employees and pensioners with effect from July 1, 2016.
The new DA will be paid along with the January salary, said a press release issued from the finance minister’s office. The arrears will be merged with the PF. For the pensioners, the arrears will be paid in cash.
With this, the DA rate of government employees, teachers and pensioners will become 12%. The government will incur an additional expense of Rs 86.07 crore per month and Rs 1032.84 crore a year.
